Babies and Toddlers
Baby and Me
Baby and Me is group for those with little ones under the age of 12 months. It’s a safe place you can bring your baby and meet other parents. We have lots of toys set out and provide plenty of tea and cake. We believe that first year is such an important bonding time but understand how hard the challenges of parenting can be. We want to be here for you for it all.
Every Friday afternoon, excluding bank holidays, 1.30-2.30pm in the church.
Monday Morning Parents and Toddlers
Our lively and popular toddler group takes place every Monday in term time from 9.45am to 11.15am.
We recognise that this is an important time for parents to enjoy a morning out, so we serve great coffee and homemade cakes and do all we can to make this a welcoming and comfortable group for everyone.
Monday Mornings is a happy and fun place for children. Every week we offer a craft activity, snack time, a story (very often taken from the Bible), as well as songs and lots of toys. We charge £1.50 per family which covers all refreshments.
We currently have a short waiting list so, if you are interested in joining us, please either pop in on Monday morning to pick up a form or call us at the church office.
Messy Church
‘There’s a great atmosphere’, ‘there’s exciting things to do’, ‘I like the competitions’, ‘I enjoy doing things together – and a night off from the cooking!’, ‘I like the Bible stories and the singing’, ‘Messy Church is great’. This is some of the feedback we’ve had.
Do you want to do things as a family? Then Messy Church could be for you! Messy Church is a place where families can come and enjoy spending time together – making things, doing activities, playing games, eating and celebrating. Messy Church takes place on the second Sunday of each month (except during January and August) at 4-6pm at Holy Trinity Church, Barbican Terrace. There is no charge.
Room Service
Every fourth Sunday morning the Room Service mission team lead a church service in various sheltered housing and residential housing units around the Barnstaple area. These are great opportunities for us to take church to people who would not otherwise be able to attend.
Schools
Schools are at the centre of community, and we seek to share our heart with them. The team invite the children to enjoy interactive experiences in the church building, and bring church into the school by leading assemblies and lunchtime clubs. An active Open the Book team lead Bible-based assemblies at our local C of E primary school.
Trinity Coffee Morning
Join Trinity Coffee Morning every Tuesday from 10am to 11.30am for a warm and fun place to sit and chat. Lovely home made cake, fresh coffee,
jigsaws, craft table. Come and join us!
