• Interface takes place in the church hall serving hot food and sandwiches on Saturday mornings from 11am to 1pm. Many of our clients are poor, homeless or lonely and enjoy spending time meeting up with friends and having something to eat.

Our serving team members are made up of volunteers from Trinity and other churches, as well as people from the local community. Most of the food we serve is donated by local organisations: a bakery, a pasty shop and a secondary school.

Monday Morning Parents and Toddlers

Our lively and popular toddler group takes place every Monday in term time from 9.45am to 11.15am.

We recognise that this is an important time for parents to enjoy a morning out, so we serve great coffee and homemade cakes and do all we can to make this a welcoming and comfortable group for everyone.

Monday Mornings is a happy and fun place for children.  Every week we offer a craft activity, snack time, a story (very often taken from the Bible), as well as songs and lots of toys.  We charge £1.50 per family which covers all refreshments.

We currently have a short waiting list so, if you are interested in joining us, please either pop in on Monday morning to pick up a form or call us at the church office.

Messy Church

‘There’s a great atmosphere’, ‘there’s exciting things to do’, ‘I like the competitions’, ‘I enjoy doing things together – and a night off from the cooking!’, ‘I like the Bible stories and the singing’, ‘Messy Church is great’.  This is some of the feedback we’ve had.

Do you want to do things as a family? Then Messy Church could be for you! Messy Church is a place where families can come and enjoy spending time together – making things, doing activities, playing games, eating and celebrating. Messy Church takes place on the second Sunday of each month (except during January and August) at 4-6pm at Holy Trinity Church, Barbican Terrace. There is no charge.

Room Service

Every fourth Sunday morning the Room Service mission team lead a church service in various sheltered housing and residential housing units around the Barnstaple area. These are great opportunities for us to take church to people who would not otherwise be able to attend. We visit Barum Court, Medard House, Clayfield Care Home, Magdalene Lawn and Ebberly Care Home.

Schools are at the centre of community, and we seek to share our heart with them. The team invite the children to enjoy interactive experiences in the church building, and bring church into the school by leading assemblies and lunchtime clubs. An active Open the Book team lead Bible-based assemblies at our local C of E primary school.

Trinity Coffee Morning

Join Trinity Coffee Morning every Tuesday from 10am to 11.30am for a warm and fun place to sit and chat. Lovely home made cake, fresh coffee,
jigsaws, craft table. Come and join us!

The Tower

  • The Tower climbing wall at Holy Trinity Church, Barnstaple is just a 5 minute walk away from the town centre. It’s a 7.5m wall built inside the church tower.
The wall is ideal for a small group working with a single instructor, with exclusive use. Additional indoor space is also available for larger groups.

We welcome all sorts of different groups including:
    • Birthday Parties
    • Schools
    • Clubs
    • Charity/Community

The wall is managed by James and Abi Overton and our lovely team of instructors. If you would like to contact us about hiring the wall or to find out more information we would love to hear from you.
